The College mix is a mix of raisins and mixed nuts. The College mix is said to derive its name from the effect of its ingredients as it is supposed to impact brain function positively as per few studies. The mix contains many nutrients and are high in antioxidants. The nuts in the college mix are very rich of unsaturated fatty acids, which contribute to healthy cholesterol levels. The walnuts contain especially much omega-3 fatty acids, and these are essential for good functioning of the brain. The carbohydrates in the raisins provide fast energy, while the nuts give you that stuffed feeling. This makes the melange of nuts and dried fruit the ideal snack.
