Muto mix is a gluten-free mix of Japanese pretzels in various shapes, flavored with shoyu soy sauce (soybeans, salt, wheat), olive oil, sea salt, nori seaweed and sesame seeds. These pretzels are originally from Japan. They are made from glutinous rice flour with various flavors. It is called glutinous in the sense of being glue-like or sticky, and not in the sense of containing gluten (which it does not).They are steamed, cut into the right shape, dried and grilled. The seaweed provides lot of minerals and also fructose (glyconutrient), a special kind of sugar that is not common in many foods, which has a beneficial effect on the intestines. Sesame seed contains a lot of fibre, protein, B-vitamins, minerals and strong antioxidants. Muto mix is light and savoury, it is perfect with a drink or as a snack.
