Sunset Soup mix*

Sunset Soup mix is a combination of ingredients to prepare a delicious, nutritious soup. The mix consists of barley, red kidney beans, green split peas, Dahl lentils, green lentils, white beans, pinto beans, black beans and red split peas. Barley is a centuries-old, light, digestible grain that can be found worldwide. It is an excellent source of nutritional fibre, that contributes to a good digestion. Besides that, it is also a good source of protein and minerals, among which manganese, selenium, magnesium, copper and phosphorus are some. Beans are an excellent source of fibre, protein, iron, potassium and magnesium. Split peas have little fat and contain lot of fibre and protein. They are also rich in vitamin B11, manganese, copper and iron. Green split peas boil down to a solid, creamy mash and have an earthy taste. Lentils are pulses that are rich in protein, fibre and an excellent source of iron. White beans are also very rich in fibre and protein. Besides that, they contain a lot of minerals like iron, magnesium and manganese. They remain relatively solid after cooking.
