Lentils are the edible seeds of lentil bushes. They are pulses, just like beans and peas. They exist in all kinds of colors and variety's. In many countries in Southeast-Asia, like India and Pakistan, lentils are a essential part of the regional cuisine. Lentils are known as ingredient for millenniums.
