This flake mix consists of our three most popular grains: wheat, barley and oats. It forms the basis of many of our mueslis, and is extremely suitable for composing your own muesli. Cereal flakes are very rich in dietary fibre and protein.They also contain a lot of thiamine (vitamin B1).The latter is especially important for the proper functioning of the muscles and the nervous system.Finally, grains also contain all kinds of minerals, including manganese, magnesium and phosphorus.To make the flakes, the moisture content of the grain is increased by means of steam.Then the granules are passed through crushers, where they come out as flat flakes.It's almost impossible to crush grains without steam, because this extra moisture allows you to flatten the grains instead of crumbling them.
