Peanut butter recipe

For 250 grams
Preparation time: depending on your choice of peanuts – 5 – 20 minutes
Ingredients
- 250 grams of roasted and salted peanuts (art.nr. 8045) or
- 250 gramdry roasted peanuts (art.nr. 8092) or
- 250 grams blanched, raw peanuts (art.nr. 8082)
Optional
- sea salt to taste
Preparation
- with roasted and salted peanuts
Put the peanuts in a blender, possibly divided into portions depending on the size of the blender. Grind the peanuts into peanut butter. It is possible that the peanut butter will stick to the wall of the blender. Then scrape off the peanut butter and grind again until you reach the desired consistency.
- With dry roasted peanuts
Follow the instructions under 1. If necessary, add ground sea salt to taste at the end.
- With blanched, raw peanuts
Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the peanuts into a single layer. Roast the peanuts for about 5 minutes. Then stir the peanuts and roast for another 5 minutes. Remove the peanuts from the oven and let them cool. Then follow the steps under 2.
Store the peanut butter in a well-cleaned jam jar.
Variations
Coarsely chop some of the peanuts if desired. Stir the pieces into the peanut butter at the end of cooking.
Do you think the peanut butter is too thick or too dry? Then add some neutral sunflower oil, peanut oil or sesame oil.
