Dear SUN Coffee lover,
Unfortunately, we have to inform you that our beloved Blue Mountain coffee from Papua New Guinea will be out of stock until the new harvest later this year.
The only road from the area where this coffee is grown has been destroyed by last year's devastating landslides. This means it is impossible at this time to transport coffee to our facility the Netherlands. We ask for your understanding, and we hope for our farmers and the people in the area that the situation in the country will improve soon.
We are happy to report some good news too! We are expanding our Sailed Coffee-line with two new roasts. Unique to this coffee is that the beans are transported to the Netherlands 100% emission-free by sailing ship.
Starting mid-April, you will be able to order the following variants:
- Sailed coffee – Gold roast – This roast is a little bit lighter than our Espresso roast and is perfect for a cappuccino or an after-dinner coffee.
- Sailed – Extra dark roast – This roast is extra intense, making it perfect for lovers of a bold espresso or ristretto.
In the meantime, we invite you to try the other coffee specialties from our SUN Coffee range. In addition to our Sailed Coffee, discover the rich tradition of Santa Rosa, the perfectly balanced Arabica House blend, or the Café Femenino – produced exclusively by women.
