Delicious mango strips

Our mango, the Mangifera Indica, is known worldwide and grows in more than 500 varieties in a tropical and subtropical climate. The trees can grow up to 40 meters high and become very old, more than 300 years Our project in Burkina Faso, in collaboration with the Burkina Dry More project, is not only focused on the production of mango, but also on improving the livelihoods of local farmers and stimulating organic farming and processing. This initiative will increase the competitiveness of the companies involved and create more jobs.

 

In Burkina Faso, mango is a seasonal product. Women in particular are involved in the processing of the harvested mangoes. They receive training in selecting, cleaning, cutting and drying the mangoes. This initiative provides them with a reliable income.
