BioNut organic deglet nour dates are sweet and supple of taste. They are lovely as a snack, but also perfect to use in all kinds of dishes. Our deglet nour dates are already pitted what makes it perfect as a snack. Because these dates are a bit stronger and dryer than the Medjool dates, they are excellent to use in all kinds of recipes. Dates are especially good in pastries. They are the base ingredient of the traditional English sticky toffee pudding for instance. Dates are often used as natural sweetener. Mix the pitted dates with a little bit of water for a dates syrup that you can use as sweetener to add in smoothies or other dishes. Medjool dates are rich of potash, which is i.e. important to ensure the good functioning of your muscles. Besides that they contain many nutritional fibers. These are essential for a good digestion.
