Our organic, dried apricots have a lovely sweet taste. They are perfect as a fast snack or addition to all kinds of recipes or pastries. These apricots are maybe a bit darker of color then you're used to because their unsulfurized. This means that the apricots, after drying, are not treat with sulfur, which is the case with the bright orange apricots. The unsulfurized apricots are less sweet, but still pure nature! Apricots contain naturally much beta-carotene (pro-vitamin A), which your body can convert into vitamin A. This is especially good news for vegetarians and vegans, because real vitamin A can only be found in animal products. Vitamin A is especially important for the eyesight, but even fulfills more essential functions in the body.
